AcuitiDP - Oracle Data Provider for DotNetNuke^®
DotNetNuke^®is an automated content management system specifically designed to be used in Intranet and Internet deployments. Built using ASP.NET and Visual Basic .NET, DotNetNuke can run off a Microsoft SQL Server database. AcuitiDP is designed to extend the benefits that DotNetNuke^®offers to the users that use Oracle as their database instead of Microsoft SQL Server.

Using various techniques, AcuitiDP aims to mimic the functionality that is present in DotNetNuke^®, thereby allowing its users to create PA (Private Assemblies) and modules in a similar manner as they would with Microsoft SQL Server.

AcuitiDP has been certified by Microsoft to meet their stringent requirements and is supported on several versions of Oracle (Oracle 9i, 10g and 10 Express).

Minimum Requirements to run AcuitiDP

Supported versions of Oracle
Internet Information Server 5, 6 or 7^{(version 04.08.00 or higher)}
ASP.NET Framework 1.1/2.0
User must have sufficient permissions to install applications on the web server
Appropriate DotNetNuke^®versions must be installed correctly on the web server

AcuitiDP comes in two different versions. Both versions offer the full capabilities of DotNetNuke to the end user without any compromise on functionality.

Standard Edition Features

Unlimited Support available for a period of 1 year after purchase.
Licensed per Developer/Machine.
Support available only via email.
Upgrades limited to bug fixes for the version which was purchased (as they become available).
Ideal for a single developer or companies with a single web server.
Low cost - ideal for companies wishing to evaluate the provider prior to rolling it out at their company.
Upgrade path available for users wishing to convert to Enterprise Edition (within 6 months of purchase).

Enterprise Edition Features

Unlimited Support available for a period of 1 year after purchase.
Licensed per company (unlimited installs within the same organization).
Email and Phone Support available.
Free upgrades as newer versions become available for a period of 1 year after purchase.
Ideal for Multiple Developers or Site/company wide implementation.
Can be installed on multiple development/production servers.
